This site is purely a hobby. I have enjoyed woodworking since I was young and recently, due to space, noise, and safety constraints I have focused my efforts towards using only hand tools. It has been an interesting challenge and I am continually developing and improving my skills. During this process I have been reading as many books as I can find the time to read, however, some of the highly recommended books I did not find very helpful. For this reason I decided to start writing reviews for the books I have read. My goal is to provide as honest of a review as possible. I have also tried to highlight the positive aspects of each book since my personal preferences may not be ubiquitous.
In the future I hope to expand the site to include some of the woodworking projects I have been working on as well as whatever else I might find interesting.
Currently, this site does not use any cookies or trackers. Eventually, I may collect analytics in a effort to improve the content on the site and may further include some advertising to help pay for the cost of hosting.
This site is pretty basic. Some of the headings use Essays 1743 font. The drops caps use Zallman Caps font.
